Why the wedding ring is on the 4th finger:
First, join your palms and put your middle finger back to back as shown in the picture below. Then, the rest of the 4 fingers touch tip to tip.
Now, open your thumbs first, close it back, followed by indexes, close it back, so on and so forth.
Notice your wedding ring fingers can't be opened at all?
