I have just finished reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It's so beautiful it should be one of the books that you have to read to make your life happier and to appreciate things better. At least for a while. For me, anyway. Haha.
There's a paragraph in the book that says: There are crossroads in our lives when we make grand, sweeping decisions without even realising it. Like scanning the newspaper headline at a red light, and therefore missing the rogue van that jumps the line of traffic and causes an accident. Entering a coffee shop on a whim and meeting the man you will marry one day, while he's digging for change at the counter. Alright. I have nothing else to blog about.

First and foremost.
It's been a year and six months since boyf and I got together! :D
Saturday morning was spent at Pasir Ris Park with poly mates and our recently retired lecturer. I went to my uncle's place in the evening to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Edwin is going to be eight years old on the 27th of June, and he's so very chubby. (:
This one is one-half of the twins, Jaddon. I have no idea why he keeps combing his hair to the right (nonstop for five minutes), but he's darn cute.

HAPPYBIRTHDAY TO FEISHAN AND KOKHOW!
Though I don't know him well, haha. But Peishan reminded me of the coincidence lol.

Quote from someone (whose name I forgot):
Never trust your partner a hundred percent.
However, all we ever need from each other, is trust. And love.
Contradicting. And very random, I know. Bah. I miss you. Goodnight.
// 3:00 AM
Wednesday was supposed to be an outing with my poly mates but I was too tired after working two continuous full shifts before the day, and I couldn't really see myself getting up at 7:30am to reach Tampines by 10am. Oh well. We'll be meeting soon anyway. To be precise, on Saturday.
Thing is, I have to be at Pasir Ris before 8:30am. WHATTHEFUCK. How to!? Argh. But I'm going no matter what though. Will be going to the beach and stuff. (: Okay I'm feeling very lazy now. The pictures shall do the talking from here. Fantastic Four on Fathers' Day.
This is given free at Fish and Co. when you order the ocean's set. Ugly.
Finally, I present to you: and
Wtf my dino is waaay cuter. The name, swenosaur, is waaay nicer also lor.
HAHAHA bye!

This is going to be a long entry.
Thursday, Simin came over to my house at about 11am just to inform me that she and David were locked out of his room (yet again!) and that she couldn't take her stuffs. She came over at a later time and we went to Jurong East's Baking Made Easy to get the ingredients we needed. While taking the bus home, I slept throughout the entire journey. I think I really lack of sleep. =/ My mum says I look like I've been punched in the eyes, WTH. I must change my sleeping habits. We made the chocolate chips first because Simin's more familiarised with the recipe. She did them the other day, but they are not like Famous Amos'. I compare them because she took the recipe from its website. Anyway, the first batch we made was a failure. Burnt through and through. Haha. We threw them away and the rest were much better, though they still didn't turn out like Famous Amos'. We waited for Peishan before making chocolate chip muffins, with the recipe I copied from one of Pearlyn's books the other time. Before.
After.
Before Peishan arrived, I worked on the melted chocolate. That took me a very long time. Simin managed to fill up 3 moulds before I finished with my one and only. I forgot to take a shot of it, but I lovelovelove it! :D
Simin's three moulds.
The muffins looked like shit before we baked them. Actually they still looked like it after the baking process, but they are delicious (if you believe me lol). I should say they're not bad. I mean, after all we have done.. y'know. Haha. Yes, I'm trying to say they are nice.
From this:
To this: (No difference)
After our virgin adventure at baking, we started to crap in my room while Peishan tried to study. It's damn hard, because the television was on and we kept talking in between commercials, haha. We played poker til' boyf came, at about 12:30am, then we had supper and continued to play with cards and Monopoly before crashing to bed at 4:30am.
Woke up at 2pm, had lunch and slacked til' Peishan went home to go out with her mum. Simin, boyf and I waited for David to fetch her and as usual, she had to go over to meet him instead, at Weecheong's place. Boyf went home too, and I met up with him half an hour later to pass the bicycle pump. Then I dozed off at his place 'cause I felt sick. Headache, giddiness and a slight fever. Lack of sleep, again. At around 8pm, I helped him to push one of his bicycles down to the bus stop to meet Hockyong and we walked to the petrol station behind my house to pump the bicycles' tyres. At one point, the bout of giddiness got so strong, I had to change my sitting position before I felt better lol. The guys took an hour to pump the bikes by the way. >_>
Anyway, I saw my dad driving in to the petrol station and he didn't notice me until I walked over to his car. So, he drove me home after that and here I am blogging.
Bye and goodnight. (:

Monday
Out with boyf to Pioneer Mall in the morning to buy the ingredients for making our own lunch. We went back to his place and made ourselves baked potatoes and a whole plate of baked rice. With help from his maid and sister, haha.
Today morning was spent working til' 3pm before going to boyf's place. He should be watching Fantastic Four with his friends right now, and here I am wasting my time until tomorrow comes. Unexpectedly, people like me will be making homemade food tomorrow. HAHA awesome. Simin is a definite, boyf should be coming over and Peishan might, too. It'll be so fun!
Love this small bag from Guess. Wooo!
BYE.

Matchbox20 - Bent
Friday was spent baking at Pearlyn's house in the morning. I was late in meeting her at the control station so I went up to her house myself. We made chocolate marshmallows and banana cakes (We made two). The first one was too buttery. The second one, which was for her church friends, was a tad better, but still.. I guess we need to improve on it, haha. One of her friends actually said, "Wa lao, who did this cheese cake?" HAHAHA what the hell. We met Aaron in McDonald's at Westmall and went down to Tiong Bahru where her church's band's studio is. We planned to head town after delivering the cake, but we stayed 'til they finished so we walked over to the McDonald's for dinner at around 10pm and some of us took the last train home after that.
Today was an outing with the usual group of people. I painted my toenails with gold glitter, wanted to blog but went to dear's place instead. We met at Boon Lay and went to the warehouse sale beside Raffles Hotel again, but there wasn't much new stuffs. Peishan and I got ourselves Levi's collar tees. We had dinner at Pastamania (I don't like it very much, don't know why) and crapped for a long time before deciding to leave for Bugis Street and then head home. Okay, I'm done blogging. It's already 3:07am. BYE! Love you :D |
