Yesterday
Wtf my brother send me an sms to see whether I was sleeping just because he was too bored being in the hospital with nothing to do. -.- I passed my assessment! It's pure luck and good karma (that's if I have any) haha. I forgot sooooo many stuffs, even jumped the sequence but the lecturer still gave me a pass! At one point she even told me what to do because I was fucking confused about the next step argh. Forget it it's over the assessment is nothing for concern anymore. Let's tune in to what the rest of the world is experiencing. (Rest of the world = me. Seriously, who cares about the rest of the world when you can't help yourself from things that are happening around you.) First, this month is expensive. With all the birthdays, chalets, class outings, girls' days out, and Christmas parties all up. FYI the worry here is shortage of cash. Second, this month is a month of agony. Everyone seem to be drowning in their own problems and we've failed to look around us and notice those who really need help. All of a sudden, I feel a lil' guilty for not being with the few close friends who need support. :( Alright, 'nuff of these emo-shite. My December horoscope's advice is to "play it cool". I realised I've been doing it since last week. Though difficult, it's somehow the best solution when you don't know what else to do or you've done all you could. Probably doesn't make a lot of sense. Doesn't matter. Today My afternoon was spent with Peishan at Jurong Point. We spent so much it surprises me, because everything used to be so mundane. I think the mini renovation and shifting of shops did great to their overall sales. Daddy came to fetch me in the evening to the hospital, and my grandfather's better than yesterday. GOOD. My grandaunts are ahlians, no surprise. They are 60something hot aunties lol! They smoke, speak fairly good English and have Kelly Clarkson's Because of You as their ringtone (my aunt, cousins and I stare at her unbelievably, look at one another and laugh, not because it's hilarious but we just couldn't believe it haha). You wouldn't believe this, but I actually started on Plain White T's songs because I heard the song Let Me Take You There on my 11th aunt's blog HAHA. Watch these videos. I love 'em! Jeff Dunham &Peanut Part1 Jeff Dunham &Peanut Part2 Jeff Dunham &Peanut Part3 Achmed the Dead Terrorist You know what I'm going to say before my mouth even makes a sound, that's why we make a good you and me. Anyway. You didn't exactly give me much of a choice there.. 'coz you know which option I'll choose. If that's what you want...

Trivial and important stuffssss you've got to hear from me now!
(Note: Not in order of priority) -My grandfather is currently in NUH's ICU. I've just visited him and he's not in good condition right now. Like serial dramas you watch on Channel 8/U, the doctor said he has done everything he could. Thus, these couple of days are pretty crucial. Hmmm.. -Someone spreaded fucking nonsense about my cousins and I and it's downright dumb. -One of the five Dragonboat guys was formerly from NYP. -My clinical assessment is tomorrow, and I am not ready for it. DAMN. Though it helps that most lecturers assessing us are lenient, lol. -Aliff said he saw me this morning at Boonlay and that I look like shit. He added a hugeass "LOL" after that, so it must mean that he's kidding... Right? -My dad bought me Absolut Disco when he came back from Batam on Saturday. :) ![]() ![]()
-I love shopping with boyf lol!
-I'm into the sounds of Plain White T's now. -I am also feeling lazy now, that's why everything is in point form. Bye!

It's Friday already.
Today was insanely unproductive, other than having the discussion for our class outing in December when we were supposed to be practising our clinical skills. Sending songs on MSN to two people at the same time sure lag the hell out of my computer. But it was fun while it lasted haha. Good news: Everyone in class has passed their Theory paper we all took on Wednesday. Woots. God must be in a good mood on that day. Bad news: I have an abrasion on my finger while playing badminton yesterday. It's the second time; must be the way I hold the racket lol! I asked for a plaster so that it wouldn't hurt when I wash my hands or touch anything, and Sieliu gave me a colourful one with Garfields all over it. Thanks babe! Two hours ago, I heard my brother scolding someone on the other line. That was the first time I've heard him that angry. Best part was, he did it in fluent English, Mandarin and Hokkien mixed together. Whoa.. Damn, I mustn't sound like I'm impressed lest I may be labelled as a bad sister. But so as long as he doesn't pick up bad stupid habits I guess.. 12am is approaching. Should I do my work? Nah, not for tonight. Assessment is on the 27th. I should be more or less ready after I get through the practice session coming Monday, I think. Twentyfour hours to our 23rd monthsary! :)

Finally the photos are out. Not a lot, but the memory definitely counts. Haha.

Yesterday - Went out with family to Vivocity for dinner. Then we went to NUH when we heard news about my grandfather being warded. Apparently his second toe on the right feet got infected somehow and he was to amputate it but I guess they are trying to see if taking out the pus from the infection would help the wound to heal slowly on its own with medication. I think they'll have to amputate it anyhow though, because he has diabetes and his toe was already gangrenous yesterday. There was reportedly two stories on how he got the wound, but let's not start on it. It would most probably end up as a family political issue so I shall zip up. I just messaged my project executive to inform her that I won't be going back to work tomorrow. She was cool about it, just replied "Ok can, thanks". I was anticipating a bad reply, lol. I have to say the money is hard to earn actually. Imagine someone calling you up when you are about to have dinner or right after your dinner and start babbling about doing a project to gauge awareness of a sexually transmitted virus and asking you personal questions. On the first day of work, Pearlyn and I got so many rejections from our respondents while the aunties easily get people to answer their calls. Wtf. Give me the postion of a mystery shopper over this anytime. Haha. Clinical theory test on wednesday! ._.

Alright, haven't been blogging for some time now. That's because I've been busy with *AHEM* presentations' preparation. (:
Oh by the way, photos won't be up today because I believe I've mentioned in my previous post that my cardreader is faulty and I do not have my USB cable. So yah, you people gotta wait. Apparently I have a picture of Peishan and Simin looking like pink-y twins which was taken at TopShop@Bugis Juction. I also bought a pair of knee-length pants. From Zara Kids! LOL I guess this has to be a major advantage of being pint-sized. One of my online friend told me that I looked 'crazily thin' when he saw me in IMM a few weeks back. =/ Kindly refrain from giving me The Look because I do eat a lot of junk too. (Read: I am not anorexic.) I've nothing more to say. Peace to you!

A group of professionals posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think: "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Karl - age 5 (Hmmm...) _____ "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy - age 6 _____ "If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate," Nikka - age 6 (The world needs alot more Nikkas) _____ "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." Noelle - age 7 (Hopefully he bought 7 of the same piece..) _____ "Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4 _____ "I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4 (My favourite lol!) _____ "You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." Jessica - age 8 |
