Woah. Like finally my boy updated. I should, too. Haha.
23rd October I ended school at 3pm, met up with Zhaorong at City Hall and we went to Orchard. Had a long chat sitting outside Wisma. We really do have some things in common. But then again, I have a lot in common with many people, haha. 24th October Went to dear's house and walked over to Pioneer Mall to meet up with his family for a ride to Haw Par Villa. We met up with Edmund and Zhaorong and went to the "10 Courts of Hell" but finished exploring it in less than 20 minutes, lol. Then we went down to Vivo and played with the outdoor "pool", whatever it is. Walking down the stairs to Haagen Dazs, XS actually carried me up at the edge of the stairs, wtf damn scary hahaha. Had chocolate fondue at Haagen Dazs before going to Zhaorong's house and the nearby coffee shop for dinner. Dear and Edmund played "Scissors, Paper, Stones" and Edmund ended up taking 243W with us home. Lol. 25th October I met up with dear at Dover and went to Army market. Bought one box of solid fuel for my friend and got 2 tops for myself. Dear bought his bag. Then we went to Vivo again. I bought stuffs from Candy Empire before proceeding down to Chinatown. On a side note, Death Note: The Last Name will be out in cinemas on the 28th of December! HOW EXCITING. I get to see L and Kira again. They're so cute.

Have you ever liked someone so much that you are just too scared to fall? One of my friends told me that we build walls around us to distance ourselves from others. But there are some who dare to break those walls in order to get closer to us. That's when we realize that that person is someone willing to take that extra step and risk it all.
I hate being vulnerable. And they say you fall in love. True, in a way, you do fall. By that it means, you can't really choose who you fall in love with. It's unexpected. You find yourself humming happy tunes or smiling and just thinking about that person. But that's how far falling goes. You do the rest. Love ain't easy shit. You cry, you get hurt, you swallow your pride. You go through mind games and wondering whether he likes you back, hoping for a sign. But you should realized you have to make it happen. If it doesn't work, they'll say at least you tried. And you know you did. But maybe even more, you got a glimpse of how hard it is to love. We all know we can't arrange things in the way we want them to "appear" while we fall because in the process of falling, you have no control over anything, at the mercy of gravity. Sometimes you think he's slowly letting you in on his life, his secrets, his thoughts, and even the seemingly most "senseless" things he has to say. But unpredictable he is, he'll shut you off. Not the tackless, rude, sudden "let's-not-talk-about-it-anymore type of 'brush off'" but the polite, almost subtle, and humorous kind which makes it hard for you to be outraged and frustrated. Unfathomable. Funny when you like someone so much, everything seems a shade brighter. Then I realised, does my day have to depend on him? No way, I refuse to believe that but a tugging feeling told me: "Yeah right". A well known philosopher once said, "What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you will do with your evenings, how you will spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love and it will decide everything." Is love the great equalizer? I don't know. I'd say it brings people together yet sets them apart. No matter how much you try to steer yourself away from the pain, it'll get to you sooner or later because we are, after all, humans. I am one who is difficult for guys back then - I barely surrender to them and keep my ego high. But since I met him, everything change. To keep it short - no matter how much it hurts me, I still always have this urge to find him and keep being nice. It's like a drug. No matter how much that we know it's going to destroy our lives, we still try hard to get and enjoy it, even when we know that we're costing our lives at it. I have my hopeless romantic side. But don't count on it to always show. Who you set out to be isn't always who you become.

Met up with dear yesterday to go to Beach Road but no shops were opened so decided to catch a movie at Vivo but we went to Shaw instead. Only four people were in the theatre, including us, when we watched You, me and Dupree. It was okay but I was kind of bored and tired. Maybe there's no fun in watching a movie with only 4 people in it, haha. There wasn't much kick throughout the 108 minutes either

I was watching some dvd when Simin called me up and asked whether they could come up to my place.
GUESS WHAT? David came up half-naked! HAHAHAHA. Apparently, the couple was playing the game "locking doors", haha. They ended up locking David's room door from the inside. With no belongings, they borrowed $10 and came over. I gave David one of my brother's oversized shirt and watched dvds with them 'til I was about to meet dear. Lol. Went down to Beach Road, walked around for a while and bused to Vivo. But 60% of the shops were not opened yet. Oh well, wait till its official opening then the whole group of us can go there together. (:

6th. Met up with Pearlyn and Yvonne for lunch but only Pearlyn was eating actually.
Simin and David came to look for me 'cause they were also at Jurong Point and we chatted for a while.
Pearlyn and I went to Wisma after Yvonne headed home. Walked around Topshop and I bought the Adidas bag for XS. A pair of shoes from Charles and Keith. Then we went down to Chinatown, ate at Swensen's and met up with Pearlyn's friends, Ailing and Peiling (if I'm not wrong). Ordered some more food and walked down to KSter. Another friend of Pearlyn, Shuting I think, came to meet us and we sang 'til around 9pm. The queue at the frog porridge stall was overwhelmingso we went to Yum Cha. Ordered our food but cancelled it 'cause the waiter told us there were no more crabs. Settled down at a seafood restaurant and had dinner-cum-supper. Yesterday, the 7th, we were supposed to meet 10am at Jurong Point but were late for like an hour. Sorry lah. Not my fault! Cineleisure for ROB-B-HOOD. Dear, I, Edmund, Zhaorong, Kexin, Weixiang, Peishan, Simin, Choonngee, Hockyong and Kenny. Pool for awhile and went to Sakura to have buffet dinner, spending almost 5 hours there. Then we went to The Heeren and walked around before going home.

HAPPY 17TH DEAR!
Just a quick entry before I go have my brunch. So what did I do yesterday? First, I met up with my boy at the bus stop. Suntec, watched John Tucker Must Die. Orchard, met simin and david and had Pizza Hut. Wheelock Place cause Simin wanted to collect her Apple. Wisma. Walked around Topshop and got our Flesh Imp VIP cards. Heeren and Cineleisure. Takashimaya where Simin bought her dinner. Far East when Simin and David went home. Home sweet home. |
